Plot Synopsis

THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF MELBOURNE is a one-hour reality series that follows a group of housewives in Melbourne, Australia, as they juggle their burgeoning careers, busy home lives, packed social calendars, and tenuous friendships. Whether they are established business women soaking-up the single life or married to some of the most established men in the city, these Australian bombshells show no shortage of extravagance and high-end drama. From glamorous cocktail parties to weekend getaways at exclusive resorts, sparks fly and the friendships and relationships are put to the ultimate test. The six housewives in Season 1 are: Jackie Gillies, the youngest of the Housewives, who is married to an Australian rocker, Silverchair drummer Ben Gillies; Chyka Keebaugh, married her best friend Bruce, who together have built one of Australia's largest privately owned catering and event companies, The Big Group; Gina Liano, a Barrister and a single mom of two boys, who can be found in the courtroom representing the underdog; Andrea Moss, a busy mom and owner of the exclusive Liberty Belle Skin Centre, who is married to Dr. Chris Moss, one of Australia's most successful plastic surgeons; Janet Roach, a Property Developer and a newly single bombshell, who is now on a journey to discover herself and what makes her happy; and Lydia Schiavello -- a devoted mother of two boys, a girl and three step-children -- who recently married the renowned architect and property investor Andrew Norbury in Florence. Bravo aired the U.S. premiere of THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF MELBOURNE on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Noon ET/PT, showing back-to-back episodes. On Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, Bravo aired the U.S. premiere of the second season of THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF MELBOURNE. These ladies are determined to start afresh and put last year's tensions behind them, until two newcomers join the group and instantly change the dynamic. From luxurious golf outings to chic fashion shows, resentments rise and friendships are damaged beyond repair. With two new ladies in the mix, get ready for wild accusations and surprising revelations that leave everyone reeling and reaching for another cocktail.
