Plot Synopsis

REGAL ACADEMY is a half-hour animated series that follows Rose Cinderella on her adventure through a fairy tale school, as she discovers her family's true storybook past. Rose is an ordinary girl whose love of shoes is only rivaled by her love of fairy tales. But everything changes when a magic key takes her to Fairy Tale Land, where she meets her famous fairy tale grandmother, Cinderella. Now, armed with a wand that can transform pumpkins, she's trying to fit in as the new kid at Regal Academy, where these other fairy tale progeny attend: Joy LeFrog, who loves all types of insects, has an appetite for spider burgers and mosquito omelettes, and can turn herself (and others) into frogs using her unique brand of magic -- but she needs a kiss to change back from amphibian to human; Astoria Rapunzel, Regal Academy's resident bookworm and perfectionist, who's hiding behind some huge old book in the library and has everything -- except her pesky mane of long beautiful hair -- under control, including wild ivy; Hank Snowwhite, the grandson of the famous Snow White, who can freeze anything with his wand -- and from slaying monsters to rescuing damsels in distress, he's always trying to be prince charming; Travis Beast, the grandson of the famous Coach Beast, who seems like a sensitive artist on the surface, but at the drop of a slipper, turns super strong and super shaggy. Nickelodeon aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 8am ET/PT.
