Plot Synopsis

REGULAR HEROES is a half-hour docuseries that highlights the selfless acts of essential workers, who risk it all to keep their communities afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic. From grocery clerks to hospital workers and teachers, these individuals remind us there is still hope when we work together to make a difference. The series includes special guest appearances by Alicia Keys and more. In the series opener, "A New World, a New Brand of Hero," Alicia Keys pays tribute to the courageous efforts of three regular heroes: Senior Inventory Specialist Trevor Henry, who helps his hospital battle COVID-19; Burnell Cotlon, who keeps his doors open for the lower 9th ward community as owner of the only grocery store within a 5-mile radius; and Athena Hayley, who puts her health at risk everyday by continuing to feed the homeless on Skid Row. A new episode debuts each Friday through July 3.
