Plot Synopsis

In each one-hour episode of REMOTE SURVIVAL, two people with no wilderness experience are dropped into one of the harshest environments on the planet, to see if they can survive with the help of two experts operating from a control room using high end surveillance, including cameras and flying drones. With nothing more than a knife, flash light, rope, a unique speciality survival item and a camera to record their journey, these guys are truly on their own. Their only companion is a remote voice guiding them through the wilderness and an occasional drone. With snakes and all kinds of wildlife a constant threat, and a lack of food sources in the remote locations, survival is tough, so they must master the art of creating fire, be resourceful with their rations, and conquer all fears if they have a hope of survival. The experts are: Alex Coker, a survival expert, former army and former CIA special protective agent; and Cliff Hodges, who owns and operates an outdoor school where he teaches primitive wilderness survival skills.
