Plot Synopsis

Couples attempt to transform their existing home into their dream house. No host. No professional plumbers. No licensed electricians. Just couples taking on large projects, doing the majority of the work themselves and suffering the real effects of planning and executing a long-term project together. After building a family for three years, Meg and Jacob Rubinstein decide it's time to renovate their entire 1950s home in Elkton, Maryland. Newlyweds Mark and Diana Sanicki attempt to create their dream house from a new fixer-upper in Ramsay, New Jersey.
