Plot Synopsis

Each year since 2006, a group of amateur and professional motocross riders attempt to race over unforgiving terrain from the US border to the tip of Baja, Mexico. To complete the course, riders must overcome mechanical failures, physical challenges, sleep deprivation and adverse weather conditions. How many racers will achieve The Full Pull by completing every mile of the plotted trail? In the race's first year, 12 friends competed in a dirt bike race to Cabo, and only five riders earned the Full Pull. In 2011, a group of dirt bike legends, Baja veterans, off-road racers and Rip 'fresh fish' take eight days to ride the 1500-mile course laid out by Rip founder and host Cameron Steele, Larry Badgwell, and Steele's Desert Assassins race team, which starts in snow and 35-degree temperatures on Day One with potential 100+ degree days in the middle of the Baja Peninsula later in the trip. After airing the 2009 and 2010 races as 30-minute specials, FuelTV presented the 2011 Rip to the Tip in four, 30-minute episodes, starting on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 11pm ET.
