Plot Synopsis

The four-part series explores how the continents formed from the supercontinent Pangea, and how, over time, natural events and evolution shaped the new lands and its people, animals, resources, weather, flora and fauna. Each 60-minute episode features a different land mass, including: Africa, which formed the heart of the Pangea until a staggering volcanic event carved it out of that land mass over 180 million years ago; Eurasia, formed by massive collisions, is comprised of Europe and Asia, which have different identities; The Americas, a formation that took place over 300 million years ago, while creating abundant mineral sources during that process; and Australia, which broke from Pangea, creating land that is rich in resources.
