Plot Synopsis

RISKY LISTING is a one-hour reality series that follows Alex Picken and his stable of high-end agents, as they cut deals for stylish restaurants, bars and nightclubs in New York City. First introduced to Manhattan's nightlife as a DJ in his 20s, Alex formed Picken Real Estate in 1988, and in the past 25 years he's closed deals on more than 50 of New York's most notable hotspots. Underneath his friendly disposition lies a shrewd businessman who knows the city inside and out, and now he manages agents who are trying to live up to his standards, while also competing against each other to close deals. Whether they're arguing over a commission split, learning how to keep clients happy, or celebrating a million-dollar sale, these four agents work to close deals: Haz Aliessa, NYC born and raised, who refuses to take on deals with small commissions and wants to create his own Haz-pitality empire; Danielle Lacko, a former dancer and model, who brings in high rollers and exclusive club listings; Jason Lewis, a fast-talking fearless agent, whose blunt, aggressive and passionate manner can either land him a big sale or piss people off; and Michael Sottile, a former actor in blockbusters like SPEED and RESERVOIR DOGS, who values the relationships that come with making a sale almost as much as he does the commission.
