Plot Synopsis

Jeremy Wade is a biologist and extreme angler who travels the world looking for freshwater predators that feast on flesh. This companion series shows long-lost footage of Jeremy's life, capturing some of his biggest moments: his 2002 trip to the Amazon river, where he first catches the Arapaima and when his plane crashes into the jungle, leaving Jeremy helpless; his 2005 trip to India, where he lands the goonch for the first time.
