Plot Synopsis

ROBOT CHICKEN uses stop-motion animation to bring pop-culture parodies to life, and is known for its own STAR WARS trilogy and writer-favorite sketches like the tooth-fairy sketch, the Maytag man, Cuddles, Gummi Bear, Wrath di Khan, Law & Order: KFC and more. In the 100th episode, the creators imagine what the movie SEX AND THE CITY 3 would be like if made more guy friendly, Yogi Bear battles with the Power Rangers from Jellystone Park, and find out why no one cares about Woody Woodpecker anymore. Season 6, which opens with a DC Comics Special, also features the voice talents of guest stars Elizabeth Banks, Sarah Chalke, Kat Dennings, Sam Elliott, Ben Foster, Whoopi Goldberg, Lucas Grabeel, Megan Hilty, Gillian Jacobs, Robert Kirkman, Zachary Levi, J.B. Smoove, Liev Schreiber, Jon Stewart, Patrick Stewart, Stanley Tucci, Olivia Wilde, and Alex Winter. ROBOT CHICKEN returned for its seventh season on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 11:30pm ET/PT on Adult Swim, one week after the half-hour special " Robot Chicken DC Comics Special II: Villains In Paradise." Season 7 featured voice talent from Chris Pine, Max Greenfield, Zac Levi, Jordan Peele, Keegan Michael Key, Saoirse Ronan, Kate Mara, Rob Corddry, JK Simmons, Kyle Chandler, and many, many more comedians, celebs, and actors. On Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Midnight ET/PT, Adult Swim premiered the eighth season of ROBOT CHICKEN. In the season opener, "Garbage Sushi," Godzilla fights Jason, Bob the Builder has competition from Handy Manny and the Little Match Girl finds a new, more dangerous use for her matches. On Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 11:30 ET/PT, Adult Swim premiered Season 9 of ROBOT CHICKEN. The new season opens with "Freshly Baked: The Robot Chicken Santa Claus Pot Cookie Freakout Special: Special Edition," a half-hour holiday program that features the voice talents of Jason Alexander, Jemaine Clement, Madison Dylan, and Breckin Meyer among others. Happy holidays, everyone as Robot Chicken joins Santa for the one Christmas he'll never forget. The North Pole elves dream of the simple toys of holidays past. Krampus puts in a good word for the coal industry. St. Nick finally meets his idol: Jared Leto.
On Tuesday, March 27, 2018 Warner Bros. Home Entertainment released "The Robot Chicken Walking Dead Special" on DVD and Blu-ray. From ROBOT CHICKEN creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich and their Stoopid Buddy Stoodios partners, John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner, along with THE WALKING DEAD creator and executive producer Robert Kirkman and showrunner and executive producer Scott M. Gimple, the 22-minute special is a hilariously brilliant parody joining together two fan-favorite television series. The all-star lineup in this horrifyingly hilarious special includes: The Walking Dead cast Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Steven Yeun, Sarah Wayne Callies as well as TALKING DEAD host Chris Hardwick and Breckin Meyer. Highlighted by exclusive commentary from Gimple, Green, Kirkman, Senreich and director Tom Sheppard, the Blu-ray and DVD collections will also feature a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the special. This is a must own for both WALKING DEAD and ROBOT CHICKEN fans. (Click the red "Buy DVDs" button on this page.)
