Plot Synopsis

In this spinoff of THE ROOKIE, Simone Clark is the oldest rookie in the FBI Academy. Fresh out of the FBI Academy, Simone arrives in Los Angeles and has her sights set on joining Matthew Garza's newly formed special unit as they investigate the murder of a federal engineer. Garza's squad includes Carter Hope, a promotion-hungry traditionalist; Laura Stenson, a talented agent in desperate need of a second chance; and Brendon Acres, a former actor who graduated from Quantico with Simone. On the home front, Simone and Cutty's father-daughter relationship is put to the test as their opposing opinions about law enforcement come to a head. THE ROOKIE: FEDS was introduced as a two-part event during the fourth season of THE ROOKIE, where Officer John Nolan and the L.A. division of the FBI enlist the help of Simone Clark when one of her former students is a suspect in a terror attack.

After a five-week break, THE ROOKIE: FEDS returned with new episodes on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at a new time: 9pm ET/PT. In the winter premiere, "The Silent Prisoner," a mysterious caller threatens to reveal a leaked list of undercover FBI agents if a prisoner is not released. After an exposed agent is mortally wounded, the team identifies the caller and heads to the Port of Los Angeles to secure the release of the prisoner. Later, Simone enlists John Nolan (guest star Nathan Fillion) to help her remodel Cutty's garage into a living space; and Brendon, ready to confess his feelings to Antoinette, discovers she has feelings for someone else.
