Plot Synopsis

RUGGED RUGBY: CONQUER OR DIE is a docuseries that follows the seven best rugby teams in Korea -- four semi-professional, two college, and one military -- who engage in a fierce battle of strength, strategy, and teamwork as they vie for the trophy and the grand prize of 300 million won. The teams engage in "scrums," a battle of forces known as the flower of rugby, where players interlock and push against each other to gain possession of the ball. They also score "tries" by grounding the ball in the in-goal area to earn points, and participate in "kick" matches, showcasing their precision and skill. Sportscaster Jung Yong-keom and sports commentator Seo In-soo, the only international rugby referee in Korea, provide play-by-play commentary. Four 75-minute installments of RUGGED RUGBY: CONQUER OR DIE dropped on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 on Netflix, followed by three additional installments one week later on December 17:

Episode 1 (Tuesday, December 10, 2024): Seven of Korea's strongest rugby teams enter the arena for the coveted trophy. Amid rising tension, their initial showdown of strength sets the stage.

Episode 5 (Tuesday, December 17, 2024): In the second quarterfinal, fierce rivals Hyundai Glovis and POSCO E&C reignite their ferocious competition -- each seeking a shot at redemption.

Episode 6 (Tuesday, December 17, 2024): The second half of a gripping game begins, and one team's fouls spiral the game into uncertainty. Yet, the match remains nail-biting until the very end.

Episode 7 (Tuesday, December 17, 2024): Sprinklers blast the arena for a wet quarterfinal match. Penalty kicks give one team a narrow lead, but an on-field incident leaves them vulnerable.

Episode 8 (Tuesday, December 24, 2024): The players continue to trudge through the wet game, expending every ounce of energy. After, the next two teams clash in the first semifinal match.

Episode 9 (Tuesday, December 24, 2024): The first semifinal match kicks off, with one team gaining a sizable lead early on. However, they soon face the consequences of repeated fouls.

Episode 10 (Tuesday, December 24, 2024): The first semifinal ends after a fierce match. The second, a game of significance for one team, begins -- and a superb play gives them an early lead.

Episode 11 (Tuesday, December 31, 2024): The game evolves into a breathtaking showdown, with both teams exchanging relentless counterattacks -- until a key pep talk ignites a powerful resurgence.

Episode 12 (Tuesday, December 31, 2024): An exhilarating game keeps the players fighting until the very end, culminating in an emotional celebration. But soon, the much-anticipated final begins.
