Plot Synopsis

RUNNING FOR MY TRUTH: ALEX SCHWAZER is a four-part documentary that chronicles the rise, fall, and search for redemption of Olympic medalist race walker Alex Schwazer. After being banned for doping, Olympic medalist race walker Alex Schwazer attempts to make a comeback by enlisting the help of one of his accusers: Sandro Donati, a coach who is a symbol of clean sport. As Schwazer's results improve under Donati's coaching, adversaries try to stop the athlete's return to competition. Then, an incriminating database goes public. Plus, as Schwazer fights for acquittal in his high-stakes trial, leaked emails and irregular test results begin to surface.
