Plot Synopsis

Based on the app Sago Mini World, SAGO MINI FRIENDS is an animated preschool series that features four friends -- Harvey the floppy-eared dog and his best friends, Jinja the cat, Jack the rabbit, and Robin the bird - who, along with other Sagoville residents, play, explore, imagine and celebrate daily in their joyful town. In each episode, Harvey and all his friends express their true thankfulness for all things, big and small, through optimism, kindness, preschool-friendly humor and original songs. Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky, distinguished professor of Psychology at the University of California, Riverside and expert in the science of happiness, serves as the gratitude expert on the series. SAGO MINI FRIENDS premiered on Friday, September 16, 2022, as Apple TV+ released the entire 10-episode first season.

On Friday, November 18, 2022, Apple TV+ released "Happy Thankful Day," a half-hour SAGO MINI FRIENDS Thanksgiving special. While preparing for a special Sagoville festival, Harvey and Robin accidentally end up in Loomington -- a town without gratitude.

A 23-minute Earth Day special, "Treasure It," dropped on Friday, April 14, 2023 on Apple TV+. An old lunch box finds new life when Harvey transforms it into a treasure box full of unique items for his friends.

A 23-minute SAGO MINI FRIENDS holiday special, "New Year's Steve," debuted on Friday, December 22, 2023 on Apple TV+. When Harvey makes a wish to stay awake until midnight, a firefly swoops in to help -- and kickstarts a scavenger hunt for the whole crew.

The sophomore season of SAGO MINI FRIENDS debuted on Friday, January 26, 2024 on Apple TV+, which released six new episodes. Harvey and all his friends continue to express their true thankfulness for all things, big and small, through optimism, kindness, preschool-friendly humor and unforgettable original songs. In the season opener, "Turkey Tea Party; Jinja's Mystery Package," Robin hosts a one-of-a-kind celebration; Harvey leaps into action to save Jinja's surprise from being spoiled.
