Plot Synopsis

Based on Stan Sakai's comic book series, "Usagi Yojimbo," SAMURAI RABBIT: THE USAGI CHRONICLES is an animated series that follows the teenage rabbit, Samurai Yuichi, descendent of the great warrior Miyamoto Usagi, on his epic quest to become a true samurai. But he isn't alone! He leads a ragtag team of misfit heroes -- including a roguish bounty hunter, a cunning ninja, an acrobatic pickpocket and a faithful pet lizard -- as he battles depth-charging moles, metal-tipped winged bats, and monsters from another dimension, all in the pursuit to become the best Samurai Usagi! The entire 10-episode first season of SAMURAI RABBIT: THE USAGI CHRONICLES dropped on Thursday, April 28, 2022 on Netflix.

Season 2 of SAMURAI RABBIT: THE USAGI CHRONICLES debuted on Thursday, September 1, 2022, as Netflix released the entire 10-episode new season. With the Yokai no longer their enemies, Usagi and the gang enjoy a short-lived peace but soon must prepare for an invasion by evil aliens. In the season opener, "Runaway Training," the Ki-Stone gifts Chizu, Kitsune and Gen with weapons, but they don't know why. Usagi makes himself their sensei and trains them to use their new gear.
