Plot Synopsis

SAVE OUR SHELTER is a half-hour reality series that follows pet expert Rocky Kanaka and renovation specialist Rob North, as they hit the road to help breathe new life into animal shelters and rescue facilities across North America. With the help of local volunteers, contractors, and industry experts, they revitalize rescues and shelters, while also providing them a year's supply of DogsFood, as well as other Dog for Dog products like treats, toys, collars and leashes. Plus, each episode educates audiences about pet-related topics. Shelters featured in Season 1 include: The Animal Protectorates (TAPS) in Burbank, CA; Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles; German Shepherd Rescue; and many more animal rescues across North America. This series premiered the weekend of Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 10:30am in most cities (check local listings) as part of Litton Entertainment's programming block, "One Magnificent Morning," a five-hour educational and informational programming block for teens and their families, airing on Saturday mornings on CW affiliates across the United States.
