Plot Synopsis

SAVING AMERICA is a half-hour reality series that follows Brian and Rachelle Lazzaro, as they travel across the United States in an Airstream trailer while helping families renovate and restore historic homes in small American towns. After living in California for a decade, Brian and Rachelle quit their entertainment jobs in order to pursue their longtime passion: renovating old houses. They moved to Pennsylvania, where they bought and restored an old house. Now, in this series, they travel nationwide to help others renovate their home so it meets its full potential. In each 30-minute episode, Brian and Rachelle help a different family, including: Robert and Alissa Commerford, an expectant couple in Dothan, AL, who try to get their pre-Civil War log cabin ready before the baby arrives; and architect Brandon Godwin and his wife, Ashley, who want to quickly finish the delayed renovation of their historic home at 222 E Monroe St. in Thomasville, GA. On Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 2-3pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered back-to-back episodes of SAVING AMERICA, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time.
