Plot Synopsis

In four one-hour episodes, SAVING THE BAY explores the history of the San Francisco Bay -- from the Ice Age and its first inhabitants through the California Gold Rush, the Great Earthquake and Fire of 1906, water redistribution projects, and the postwar population and consumer boom that threatens the survival of the Bay.
