Plot Synopsis

Seventh-grader Pierce Curren and his parents, Tanya and Rick, travel around the globe, discovering amazing creatures and learning about the people who work with and care for them. From mountaintops to under the sea, in each half-hour episode of SCALY ADVENTURES, the crew visits a different location, including: Saint Simons Island, GA, where they discover sharks and stingrays; the North Carolina woods, where they find box turtles and timber rattlesnakes; Boca Grande, FL, for amazing deep-sea fishing and a look inside the Professional Tarpon Tournament Series; the Safe Haven & Educational Adventures in South Carolina to see exotic rescued birds, snakes and monkeys; Jeckyll Island, GA, where the crew visits the Georgia Sea Turtle Rescue Center as it rehabilitates the sea turtle Stevie; and many more places where the crew shows kids how animals truly behave. This syndicated program first aired on Daystar, and will premiere on other channels across the nation later in 2013.
