Plot Synopsis

Created by Hansal Mehta and inspired by Jigna Vora's book, "Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison," SCOOP is a six-episode drama series that centers on leading crime reporter Jagruti Pathak, who is thrust into a nexus of police, media and the Mumbai underworld following the shocking murder of a journalist. While chasing a story on serial bomb blasts in Mumbai, Jagruti stumbles upon an incriminating lead with dangerous consequences. During a trip to Kashmir, Jagruti is pulled back to the city when a major story breaks. Speculation around a journalist's involvement in the case puts Jagruti in a troubling position. All six episodes of SCOOP dropped on Friday, June 2, 2023 on Netflix.
