Plot Synopsis

After a cyber-bullying incident results in a brutal murder, the shocking violence stirs up memories of a killing spree from the past that has haunted some, intrigued others and maybe just inspired a new killer. A group of teens at George Washington High School in Lakewood -- with two old friends struggling to reconnect at its heart -- become lovers, enemies, suspects, targets and victims of a killer who's out for blood. SCREAM is based on the series of theatrical horror films of the same name.

Season 2 of SCREAM premiered on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 11pm ET/PT on MTV. The second season picks up with Emma's return to Lakewood after several months at a retreat, where she tried to recover from the horrors of last season. Everyone is walking on eggshells around her, questioning whether she has truly gotten over the Killer's crimes. Meanwhile, Audrey is hiding her connection to the Killer, but is getting harassed by someone who knows the truth. Brooke and Jake are also keeping secrets -- they are hiding a budding romance from Mayor Maddox. And, Noah is getting closer and closer to the truth about the season one murders. Lakewood's murderous past, both recent and distant, are once again brought to focus -- with this Killer's psychotic mind-game intent on bringing Lakewood's heroes down in a storm of betrayal and bloodshed.
The six-episode third season of SCREAM, executive produced by Queen Latifah, premiered on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 9-11pm ET/PT, as VH1 debuted back-to-back episodes. Subsequent episodes debut from 9-11pm on Tuesday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 10, completing the season's three-night event. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Atlanta, Season 3 features a brand-new cast of characters destined to fall prey to the mysterious killer known as "Ghostface." The new season centers on Deion Elliot, a local star football running back, whose tragic past comes back to haunt him and threaten his hard-earned plans for the future... and the lives of nearly everyone, including his stepbrother Jamal, his mother Sherry, dropout/dealer/promoter Shane, activist Kym and aspiring musician Amir. The return of the iconic Ghostface marks the first time the mask is shown in a TV series and features Roger L. Jackson's voice.

Night 1 (Monday, July 8, 2019 from 9-11pm): GhostFace is back! When a shadowy figure from Deion's past returns to haunt his present, it threatens the lives of him and his newfound friends. The group decides to turn the tables and set a trap for their would-be killer.

Night 2 (Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 9-11pm): On Halloween night, GhostFace lures the Deadfast Club out of the city to the suburbs. Tricks rather than treats ensue, leaving the group bloodied and battered. When put to another test, each member of the group must choose who they trust the most.

Night 3 (Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 9-11pm): As suspicions sharpen and loyalties fray, the Deadfast Club desperately searches for the man behind GhostFace's mask... only to be disturbed by what they find. GhostFace's deadly game draws to an end!
