Plot Synopsis

SCRUBBING IN is a reality series that follows a group of nurses who are assigned to work in a brand new city for 12 weeks, as they prove themselves in a new hospital, make new friends, maintain existing friendships, and dive into a new dating pool. Hospitals employ traveling nurses for short-term contracts and in turn, the nurses get to see the country and experience life, all while honing their nursing skills. On their days off, these twentysomething nurses take advantage of and explore all their host city has to offer. It's the ultimate work-hard/play-hard lifestyle. In its first season, SCRUBBING IN followed first-timers Chelsey, Michelle, Crystal, Nikki and Heather, as they embarked on a journey from their nursing jobs in Pittsburgh, PA to work at hospitals in Orange County, CA. They're joined by first-timer Adrian (San Diego, CA) and three experts, Tyrice (Shreveport, LA), Chris (Gilbert, LA) and Fernando (El Paso, TX).
