Plot Synopsis

Inspired by the Mary Shelley mythology of "Frankenstein," SECOND CHANCE revolves around Jimmy Pritchard, a morally corrupt former L.A. County Sheriff, who is given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead. After Jimmy resigns, he is charged with corruption and estranged from his family. Later, he is thrown to his death after trying to stop a robbery at the home of FBI Agent Duval Pritchard, one of his two children. Brilliant Internet billionaire Otto Goodwin and his bioengineer twin sister Mary have built a cyber empire and have taken on the ultimate challenge of re-animating a dead man. In this case, they took a 75-year-old, badass curmudgeon and re-animated him as a monster in the athletic, strong and handsome body of a former Marine who was recently murdered. Now younger and stronger, Jimmy will have to choose between his old temptations and his new sense of purpose.

On Friday, March 25, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT, FOX premiered the season finale of SECOND CHANCE. In the season ender, "Gelassenheit," Pritchard and Duval race against the clock to save Gracie from Connor and Otto's life-threatening experiment. But time is quickly running out for Pritchard, as well, since there is no tank in which he can regenerate. Meanwhile, Mary, with the help of Alexa, does everything she can to try and unlock the code to save Pritchard's life before it's too late, and Otto wrestles with his conscience and the decisions he's made that have changed lives forever.
