Plot Synopsis

Wildlife filmmakers Lawrence Wahba and Haroldo Palo Jr. journey through Brazil, chronicling the lives of animals. In this series, they document: two jaguars together, which is a rare sight because scientists once believed them to be aggressive loners; a jaguar family, including the father, which has ever been filmed together; ravenous jaguars launch attacks under cover of darkness; giant river otters preparing dens, while noisily warning off jaguar intruders; caimans and giant storks that feast on fish in lagoons; a gathering of 10,000 caimans; an anaconda nearly 26 feet long; a baby otter's first swim; and many more creatures of Brazil. Nat Geo Wild aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 8pm ET, showing all three episodes back to back.
