Beneath the placid facade of Canberra lies a secret city of deals and divided loyalties, lies and opportunism. It's a city that journalist Harriet Dunkley thinks she knows, but as she forces her way closer to the truth, she discovers a conspiracy that threatens her career, her life, and endangers the freedom of every Australian. As the lies grow and corruption mounts, Harriet's dedication to exposing the government's guilt gets stronger. The series opens with Harriet investigating the identification of a dead body, leading to bigger questions with international implications.
