Plot Synopsis

Hosted by marine biologist Diva Amon, SHARK ATTACK 360 is a one-hour docuseries that dives into the world of shark bites and investigates why they happen. An international team of experts hunts for clues, using evidence and personal accounts to unravel the mysteries behind shark behavior. Cutting-edge VFX technology is used in the 360-shark lab to analyze data and understand, in forensic detail, the reasons behind shark attacks. All eight episodes of SHARK ATTACK 360 drop on Monday, July 1, 2024 on Disney+, and then make their linear television debut throughout SHARKFEST 2024:

"Blood in the Water" (linear television premiere on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 10pm): The 360 team investigates a string of shark attacks in Ballina, a small seaside town on the east coast of Australia. The team puts local theories to the test, myth-busting old beliefs and revealing fascinating shark biology. In the lab, Diva analyzes the data and uncovers a startling truth behind these bites.

"Swimmers Beware" (linear television premiere on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 9pm): The 360 team investigates several bites involving one species: the bull shark. These attacks occurred around the world, but what links them together? Diving deeper into this animal's unique anatomy, Diva discovers how and why they can occupy these surprising locations. In the field, the team gets up close and personal with these incredible animals, putting shark senses to the test.

"Killers in the Water" (linear television premiere on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 10pm): Diva uncovers a change in shark bites along the South African coast. To find out why, the team develops a unique experiment to test the sharks' countershading and discover how they can launch such effective surprise attacks. Meeting with local experts, they uncover two reasons the sharks are fleeing from their usual hotspots.

"Making Waves" (linear television premiere on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 9pm): The 360 team investigates an attack on a foil boarder in Australia. Are sharks attracted to these boards, and does something stimulate an attack? Meeting with hydrodynamic experts, the team discovers that these boards may trigger sharks. In the field, the team examines how and why.

"Dangerous Forces" (linear television premiere on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 10pm): Tensions in Jonestown are at an all-time high after a knife-wielding cult member attacks Rep. Ryan. Fearing more violence, the congressman and his group hurry out of Jonestown as quickly as possible. Some cult members come forward to leave with the visitors, desperate for safe passage out of the remote commune. As the group attempts to leave, Jim Jones has other sinister plans.

"Urban Jaws" (linear television premiere on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 9pm): The series investigates a devastating shark bite in Australia. To understand this shark attack, the 360 team, a collection of the world's leading shark experts, hunts for clues across the world. They unravel the surprising threads that link them and, as the evidence mounts, analyze data in a cutting-edge digital shark lab.

"Bites in the Shallows" (linear television premiere on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 10pm): Shocking news of the mass murder-suicide in Jonestown reaches the U.S. The White House dispatches the Special Forces to stop the unfolding crisis and locate Jim Jones. Upon arrival, a scene of unimaginable horror confronts them, but hundreds of Jonestown residents are missing, prompting a desperate search for survivors who may have fled into the jungle.

"Coming in Hot" (linear television premiere on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 9pm): Diva uncovers a mysterious cluster of shark bites in California. These bites are in the winter when the sharks are usually long gone. To understand the reasons behind the encounters, the 360 team gets to work. As they scour the world for clues, their investigation takes them to Israel, Australia and South Africa.
