Plot Synopsis

This reality series follows six heavy-duty movers, as they battle for the chance to transport the unshippable and then try to deliver the goods on time to avoid big-dollar penalties. Each job starts when the movers bid on jobs at uShip.com, the "Online Shipping Marketplace" where consumers can compare and book upfront quotes to ship freight, household goods and vehicles. The bidding battle is fierce as the movers have only minutes to act, with the lowest bidder getting the load. Then, the high-stakes race is on as the auction winner sets out to deliver the loads in time -- but any setback can cost big bucks. From oversized loads and bulky packages to the truly bizarre, these shippers haul anything if the price is right, including: a 22-foot steel horse and a giant prop for "Little Shop of Horrors"; two large boats; and an old English phone booth. The movers include: Marc Springer, who has been shipping less than a year but always manages to keep his 18-wheel tractor trailer full of the biggest, baddest loads he can find; Jennifer Brennan, a rookie to the shipping world, who began her career transporting farm animals across the country but now takes anything from a water buffalo to a million-dollar Ferrari; Jarrett Joyce, a few months in the business, who has shipped everything from kittens to a hot dog stand to a Civil War cannon; Roy Garber, a know-it-all with two years of experience, who is a serious handyman and one of the top earners in the country; Scott & Suzanne Bawcom, veteran shippers running a family business, as Suzanne bids and books while Scott, a former bomb squad specialist, hauls shipments across the country; and Christopher Hanna & Robbie Welsh, a small-town couple from South Carolina, who operate a truck that runs strictly off a waste vegetable oil system that Christopher invented.

SHIPPING WARS returned for its fourth season on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT, with back-to-back new episodes featuring Jarrett transporting a load of monkeys and Chris and Robbie converting one of their rigs to run on vegetable oil.

Season 5 of SHIPPING WARS premiered on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT on A&E. In the season opener, Jarrett's brush with Rock n' Roll fame took a turn for the worse when he scrambled to deliver their chicken car on time; meanwhile, Roy ran into trouble when he discovered a shipment was too rotted to load properly.

SHIPPING WARS returned for its sixth season on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, as A&E aired back-to-back new episodes. In the Season 6 premiere, "Giant Pain in the Ass," Jarrett deals with his biggest pain yet after he wins a giant 40-foot colon. Then, in the night's second new episode, Roy's patience is tested when he ships an iconic piece of ghostly movie history, while two blondes attempt to ship a load of dinosaurs. For Season 6, Roy, Jennifer, Jarrett and Marc are joined by new cast members Dusty Davies, Jessica Samko and Todd & Tamera Sturgis. Shipping since age 16, Davies comes from a big trucking family and now owns one of the largest heavy hauling trucking companies in the Midwest. After breaking up with her boyfriend, Samko founded her own trucking business and is willing to haul anything she can get her hands on. Shipping power couple Todd and Tamera Sturgis have been driving trucks together for 20 years and cross the country every other week hauling whatever their dispatcher throws at them.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, A&E premiered the seventh season of SHIPPING WARS, showing back-to-back new episodes. In the season opener, "Goose Bumps in the Road," Samko reluctantly teams up with Jenn after Jenn bids way above her weight class. When Jenn isn't completely forthright, Samko threatens to bring this load toppling down. Dusty takes on a pricey flock of geese decoys and struggles to keep them in prime hunting shape. Then, in the night's second episode, "The Silver Whining Playbook," Dusty's sensitive side is called on when he nets the job of transporting hundreds of live butterflies. Meanwhile, Jarrett confirms he does not have the "Midas touch" -- as his quarter of million-dollar bullion run turns into a fiasco.

SHIPPING WARS returned for its ninth season on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 10-11pm ET/PT, as A&E debuted back-to-back new episodes. In the season opener, "Tower of Power" (10pm), Natasha risks profit and time when signals get crossed on the dimensions of a massive radio tower, while Dwight and Tyesha fear becoming the villains after a load of super hero statues get roughed up under their watch. In the night's second episode, "The Creature and the Wine" (10:30pm), a massive animatronic creature with a one-day deadline is nightmare fuel for Molly and Russell, while Tamara has dreams of a sweet payday getting an oversized wine barrel across the country.
