Plot Synopsis

SHOESTRING GETAWAYS is a half-hour reality series that follows world travelers Christine Williams and Jules Hatfield, as they travel the globe to reveal insider tips and tricks on how to save money without sacrificing fun. Christine and Jules made their Don't Forget to Move blog, and in 2016 the "hit up 4 continents, 15 countries, took over 35 flights and traveled hundreds of thousands of miles around the world." On Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 3:30pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, Christine and Jules visit one of the most expensive cities America -- San Francisco.
