Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Spike Feresten and host Justin Long, SHOP CLASS is a competition series that features teams of young builders, who are tasked with designing, building, and testing unique creations. Each trio includes two students and one shop adult builder. In each episode, three teams each have three days to design and construct their creations. Then, the three judges -- including architect Brooks Atwood, interior designer Lauren Makk, and a guest judge from Disney's Imagineering department -- evaluate and test their work based on design creativity, and build functionality, while deciding which teams advances in the competition. Eighteen teams of builders start the competition, but only one team is named Shop Class Champs in the season finale. SHOP CLASS premiered on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT on Disney+, with the first of eight episodes debuting. A new episode debuts each Friday.
