Plot Synopsis

Based on Hugh Howey's bestselling trilogy, SILO is a one-hour drama series that tells the story of the last 10,000 people on Earth and their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and those who investigate face fatal consequences. Engineer Juliette seeks answers about a loved one's murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don't kill you, the truth will. SILO premiered on Friday, May 5, 2023 on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes, followed by a new installment each Friday through June 30.

The sophomore season of SILO debuted on Friday, November 15, 2024 on Apple TV+, which released the first episode. A new installment drops weekly on Fridays through January 17, 2025. Season 2 continues to tell the story of the last 10,000 people on Earth. In the Season 1 finale, Juliette was banished from Silo 18, but she refused to "clean" and instead made her way over the ridge, where other silos were visible. To open Season 2, she finds sanctuary in a silo long ago destroyed by war, where she thinks she's alone.
