Plot Synopsis

Sinbad is forced to flee his hometown of Basra on board The Providence after he accidentally kills Lord Akbari's son, and embarks on a quest to rid himself of a curse and embrace his destiny. On his voyages with the crew and other travelers on The Providence, Sinbad encounters Water Thieves, sea creatures, a woman claiming to be a deity, and Death in human form. Sinbad's fellow traveler include: taciturn Norwegian sailor Gunnar; agile jewel-thief Rina; haughty and aristocratic Nala; an odd-ball cook; and the cerebral doctor Anwar. Syfy aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT.
