Plot Synopsis

Based on the Skylanders video games, SKYLANDERS ACADEMY is an animated action-comedy series that follows the heroic adventures of a ragtag group of heroes with unique elemental skills who travel the vast Skylands universe, protecting it from evil-doers. The Skylanders team achieve victory by setting aside their egos, learning to trust one another and fighting as one to maintain harmony and balance in the land. On Friday, October 28, 2016 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire 13-episode first season. Season 2 of SKYLANDERS ACADEMY premiered on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released all 13 episodes of the new season. In Season 2, Spyro tries to prove he has superpowers, a new cadet arrives at the Academy, Eruptor discovers a new skill and much more. In the season opener, "Spyromania," Spyro wants to prove that he has his own superpower like the other Skylanders, and he's going to need it when he gets into a dangerous situation.

On Friday, September 28, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the 13-episode third season of SKYLANDERS ACADEMY. Season 3 finds Spyro and the Skylanders forging unexpected alliances, taking on new adventures and even straddling the line between good and evil. The new season opens with the evil Strykore assigning Kaos and Dark Spyro to kidnap King Pen as part of a master plan to rule the Skylands. Stealth Elf befriends Kaossandra. Then, the Skylanders are pumped when Spyro returns to the Academy, but his old friends don't realize that he's up to something.
