Plot Synopsis

SMALL TOWN POTENTIAL is a one-hour docuseries that follows life and work partners Davina Thomasula and Kristin Leitheuser -- along with Kristin's dad Don Leitheuser -- who help their clients find, buy, and renovate unique properties that have astounding potential in New York's scenic Hudson Valley region. Davina, a real estate agent with a flare for design, Kristin, a builder with expert construction know-how, and Don, a skilled master carpenter, aren't afraid to take on full-scale renovations that will transform small-town houses into perfect dream homes.

On Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Noon ET/PT, HGTV premiered a sneak-peek episode of SMALL TOWN POTENTIAL. In this special installment, "Newlywed House Hunt," a newlywed couple with an ambitious wish list and a modest budget looks for a family-friendly Hudson Valley house. Davina and Kristin search for a property with lots of potential they can transform into a charming home. HGTV had no other episodes on its schedule at that time.

SMALL TOWN POTENTIAL made its official series debut nearly three months later on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT on HGTV. In the series opener, "From City to Farmhouse," city-dwellers have decided to leave their old life behind to raise their daughter closer to nature in the Hudson Valley. Davina and Kristin aim to fulfill their aspirations of a farm-to-table lifestyle and create the character-filled home of their dreams.
