Plot Synopsis

SO COSMO is a one-hour reality series that follows the young women and men whose real life experiences inspire the pages of "Cosmopolitan Magazine," uncovering the glamour and behind-the-scenes drama of celebrity encounters, fashion and beauty shoots. Always the first to hear what's hot in music, fashion, style, beauty, sex and celebrities, these tastemakers don't follow trends, they create them. But what happens when the staff turns the attention of the cameras to their personal lives? Viewers see how the team copes when pushed past their limits by the influential former Editor-in-Chief and current Chief Content Officer of Hearst Magazines, Joanna Coles, who expects only the best. On Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 8pm ET/PT, E! premiered a half-hour "Meet the Cast" special, introducing viewers to Joanna Coles, as well as the cast of young people that work for her including: Diandra Barnwell (Brand Coordinator), Tiffany Reid (Senior Fashion Editor), Steven Brown (Bookings Director),Evan Betts (Fitness Contributor), Adam Mansuroglu (Fashion Editor), James Worthington Demolet (Senior Fashion Editor) and Leah Wyar (Executive Beauty Director). On the series premiere, which debuted Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 8pm ET/PT, the talented and ambitious Cosmopolitan staff learn there is no environment more competitive than the magazine industry in NYC -- especially after a big announcement sends the office into a tailspin. As the team prepares for a high profile cover shoot with Ruby Rose, Junior member, Diandra Barnwell, runs into romantic complications when trying to hire a new fitness contributor.
