Plot Synopsis

Mike Rowe travels across America, joining unique individuals in their respective undertakings, while paying tribute to these innovators, do-gooders, entrepreneurs, collectors, and fanatics. In each one-hour episode, Mike spends time doing two different jobs or vocations, including: the Le Reve diving show in Las Vegas; the only hair museum in the world in Missouri; repopulating cranes with Dr. John French and his team; Big Dog Neon, a business signage company run by Evan Voyles & Kirk Tunningly; orchestrating a Chesapeake Bay oyster orgy with Dr. Mutt Meritt; leading The Marching Cobras with Don Daughtry; teaching people life saving skills in California with survival expert Thomas Coyne; competing in watermelon seed spitting in Texas; and much more. SOMEBODY'S GOTTA DO IT returned for its eight-episode second season on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at 9pm ET/PT on CNN. In the season premiere, "Bullfighting," Mike faces down a bull, learns the art of making craft chocolate, and visits President Lincoln.

CNN premiered the eight-episode third season of SOMEBODY'S GOTTA DO IT on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT. In the season opener, "Dude Perfect," Mike meets a group of college friends who gained internet fame from basketball trick shots. Later in Season 3, Mike visits the Texas Panhandle to assist a prairie dog rescuer and travels to Austin to spend time with a stunt scientist. He also hikes the woods of coastal Oregon with a tree-obsessed group, trains with the San Diego Derby Dolls, drag races in North Carolina and heads back to Baltimore to try to help rebuild the reputation of his hometown.
