Plot Synopsis

This series included enhanced episodes of SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING NEW, featuring behind-the-scenes facts, helpful tips and viewer tweets. The original reality series follows brides searching for the perfect wedding dress, as they choose between a new designer gown and a fashionably reimagined heirloom. In each 30-minute episode, one bride-to-be works with two experts. Designer Kelly Nishimoto reworks a previously worn dress, such as a mother's hand-me-down gown or a best friend's princess gown, so that the vintage attire is updated to reflect the time, venue and personality of the bride. Meanwhile, stylist Sam Saboura takes the future bride on a shopping trip to a bridal salon to pick out a brand-new stylish dress. At the end of each episode, the bride-to-be must choose between a nostalgic one-of-a kind dress and a new and fashionable piece.
