Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by series star Elizabeth Olsen, SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS is a half-hour drama series that follows Leigh Shaw, a young widow struggling to put her life back together in the wake of her husband's unexpected death. The series dives into grief as an unavoidable, universal, transformative part of life. Leigh's journey teaches us that grief is not something merely to endure, medicate away or "muscle through," but an essential part of the human experience. SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS premiered on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 9pm ET/6pm PT, as Facebook Watch released the first four episodes.

Facebook Watch released the first three episodes of the second season of SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. In the season opener, "Middle Finger, Thumbs Up," Leigh tries to move forward with her life, leading to a confrontation with Danny, who's made sweeping life changes. Then, in the second episode, "I'm Here," Leigh turns to Amy for a startling new way to connect with Matt. Danny is driven to take a huge risk by a total stranger.

On Tuesday, November 19, 2019 Facebook Watch premiered "I'm Still Here," the Season 2 finale of SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. In the previous episode, "The Whale," Danny has disturbing nightmares about his brother, and Leigh can't write her final essay until she gets the truth out of him. Tommy forces Jules to face her deepest fear.
