Season 1
Plot Synopsis
Created and executive produced by Joshua Safran, SOUNDTRACK is a one-hour romantic musical drama series that looks at the love stories connecting a diverse, disparate group of people in contemporary Los Angeles through the music that lives inside their hearts and minds. Featuring songs by Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd and more, the series focuses on love, loss and transformative luck intersecting for two struggling artists: Sam and Nellie.
The series opens with a fateful connection that finds its footing, while Nellie faces an uncertain future and Sam attempts to make peace with his past. After Nellie takes a swing at spontaneous romance, Sam and Nellie hit the road for a special retreat. Elsewhere, Dante attempts to forge a road to forgiveness after making a crucial mistake. As Dante navigates a painful new normal, Sam embraces a thrilling opportunity. Annette works to master -- and maintain -- the rhythm of her life. In the face of uncertainty, Sam turns to Joanna. Elsewhere, a promising new beginning pushes Nellie to her limits.
On Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the 10-episode first season of SOUNDTRACK.
