Plot Synopsis

Ten celebrities train with diving legend Greg Louganis and compete in elimination challenges that include various events in regulation platform and springboard diving. Each dive is critiqued and scored by two judges -- London Olympic U.S. Gold medalist David Boudia and Australian Olympic athlete and USA Dive Team director Steve Foley -- who decide which two celebrities had the worst performances. At the end of each episode, the bottom scoring duo go head to head against each other in a dive-off to determine who will be sent home. Leading up to the competition, Louganis, the world's most decorated and medaled diving legend, gave each celebrity weeks of training. In each of the first two episodes, five celebrities dive and one contestant is sent home. Eight celebrities remain for the show's third episode, and the remaining contestants are paired up with one of their competitors to compete in a partner dive, with the worst-scoring duo heading to a dive-off. These competitions continue until only the winner remains. In addition to Louganis, the coaching staff also includes 2012 U.S. Olympic diver Cassidy Krug, two-time Olympian and coach of Team A&M Diving Wendy Lerew, four-time Olympic coach and SoCal Divers coach Scott Reich, and Rose Bowl Aquatics coach Hunter Shafer.
