Plot Synopsis

Animal advocate and avid pet spoiler Beth Stern travels across America, visiting over-indulgent pet owners who pamper their companions. In each 30-minute episode, Beth meets with three people who pamper pets, including: the owner of the only full-service pet pig spa and boarding facility in the world; Dominic and Shannon, who are raising a pampered clan of more than 100 reptiles; dog lover Susan and her Morkie (Maltese Yorkie) Tasha, who attends regular "pup scouts" meetings in Manhattan; owners of two ferrets, Mr. Binky and Lola, competing at The Greatest Ferret Show on Earth in Chicago; New Yorker Cynthia, who takes her spoiled pooch to Madrette the Paw Reader so she doesn't miss anything from Toto's list of needs; Sharon, from Montauk, NY, who has six Afghan dogs, with her most favorite puppy joining her at dancing classes; Diane, who has 10 rats that she adores like nothing else; Dale, whose family shares has annual photo shoots with their 16 bearded dragons; a Jewish family that throws "bark mitvahs" for their two Pomeranian dogs, named Nicky and Sophia; Marissa, who spoils her cats so much that she visits her lawyer to include them in her will; Diane, who gathers her 17 turtles and tortoises to enjoy good food, the outdoors and some coddled company at a special turtle branch; Mike, a New Jersey farm owner, whose companion, Chase, is the supposed "working" dog; two Chicagoans, Nettie and Alex, who have turned two winged creatures into some seriously lucky ducks; Jess and Eric, who opened the Bubba Rose Biscuit Company in Boonton, NJ, with their dogs as their official taste testers; the owners of two dogs, Fiona and Chico, who are having a bachelorette party the day before their wedding day; Joe, whose pot-bellied pig, Franklin, gets to work at his hardware store; Tammy and John, who insist on treating a pair of ferrets, Gaby and Bella, like princesses, going so far as to sing for them in harmony; and many more pet owners with spoiled rotten pets.
