Plot Synopsis

As tradition dictates, Star Butterfly receives the royal magic wand for her 14th birthday, but her parents worry that she is not ready for the responsibility and send her to Earth, a place they deem safe, where she lives with the Diaz family. This animated comedy series follows Star on her new planet, as she continues to battle villains throughout the universe -- now with the help of Marco Diaz -- while trying to protect her wand and attend high school like a typical teenage. Soon after settling in, Star's best friend from her home, Flying Princess Pony Head, pays a visit and feels threatened by Star's new friendship with Marco. After two sneak peek episodes -- Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT on Disney and Monday, February 16, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT on Disney XD -- STAR VS. THE FORCES OF EVIL had its official series premiere on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 8-9pm ET/PT on Disney XD, as the cable channel aired back-to-back episodes of the new series.
