Plot Synopsis
In this one-hour nationally syndicated talk show (check local listings), host Steve Wilkos -- a 6-foot 3-inch former U.S. Marine, Chicago police officer, and former security guard and fill-in host for THE JERRY SPRINGER SHOW -- helps people stand up for themselves and dishes out help to people from all walks of life. During the show's run, Wilkos has helped authorities take pedophiles off the streets, has given dozens of women the courage to walk away from abusive relationships, and has coached teens against the dangers of drugs and alcohol. He uses tough love to approach a wide range of issues such as domestic violence, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, child endangerment, gang affiliation, and racism, among others.
On Monday, September 15, 2014, THE STEVE WILKOS SHOW returned for its eighth season. The Season 8 opener, "A Father's Fight For His Daughter," taped on August 27, featured Robert, who believes his daughter is being abused and molested by her stepfather, John. Robert says he found bruises, scratches, handprints and black eyes -- but her mother is covering for him.

THE STEVE WILKOS SHOW returned for its 16th season on Monday, October 3, 2022 (check local listings for time and channel). The season opener, "A Father's Fight to Clear His Name," featured the story of Semaj, who has endured accusations from his ex-girlfriend, Tayanah, that he molested their eldest daughter; he passed a lie detector test but that wasn't enough to convince Tayanah that he poses no threat to their children.
Season 17 of THE STEVE WILKOS SHOW debuted on Monday, September 25, 2023 in national syndication (check local listings for time and channel). In the season opener, "Shocking Results Cause Chaos," Quay rarely has been able to see his daughter for more than a year, since his ex, Kishreanna, started accusing him of molesting the child; he denies it all and says she's fabricating the story out of jealousy in an attempt to tear his family asunder.
