Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Fernanda Souza, STRANDED WITH MY MOTHER-IN-LAW is a one-hour Brazilian reality series that features six couples, who travel to a mysterious beach to confront their relationship challenges while competing for a grand prize -- all with the the assistance of their mothers-in-law. The first four episodes of STRANDED WITH MY MOTHER-IN-LAW dropped on Monday, October 9, 2023 on Netflix, with the final four installments debuting one week later on October 16.

Season 2 of STRANDED WITH MY MOTHER-IN-LAW debuted on Thursday, January 2, 2025 on Netflix, which released the first four episodes. Additional installments drop the following week. Isolated on an island paradise, new families and their in-laws challenge and rediscover themselves as they compete for a large cash prize. The new season opens with Fernanda Souza introducing the six families featured this season. Early alliances form, and an initial conflict between in-laws heats up.
