Plot Synopsis

Hosted and judged by street-art legend Justin BUA, STREET ART THROWDOWN features 10 of America's most promising artists taking part in a street-art elimination-style competition, as they vie for the $100,000 grand prize. Shot at some of the most iconic Los Angeles locations, the competitors must bring their vision to life and showcase their work to the world. Furiously scaling walls, climbing fences and navigating underground tunnels, these artists must have the talent, style and hustle to make it to the end. In each one-hour episode, the remaining artists compete in two challenges, beginning with a mini art-stunt dubbed "The Hustle," where the contestants must create a quick piece while confronted by environmental obstacles. The winner is given an advantage in the next challenge, "The Throwdown." In this elimination round, the competing artists are tested on their stamina, strength and efficiency as they create a large-form piece or mural in hard-to-reach locations and under harsh conditions. Whether they're making their mark on a high-rise billboard and in an underground tunnel or creating posters for D.A.R.E. in an abandoned World War II bunker, these artists are trying to impress BUA, who is joined at the judges' table by Lauren Wagner, the Director of Pop International Galleries.
