Plot Synopsis

STURGIS is a three-part reality series that documents the 72nd Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, the granddaddy of motorcycle events. For one week a year, the small town of Sturgis, SD, is overrun by a half million, adrenaline-charged bikers, covering Main Street with chrome and enamel. For the 2012 event, Main Street's hottest bartenders ignite the crowd, sparks fly at the world's biggest biker build-off, the Buffalo Chip girls hit the stage and the cops clamp down on the wild partiers as the Rally gets underway. Then, competition is fierce for the most coveted custom bike award, security gets tested in Main Street's rowdiest biker bar and monstrous burnouts cloud the sky with smoke as the biker bash heats up. Finally, stunt riders fly high above Main Street, Miss Buffalo Chip girls strut their stuff for the crown and the cops keep the party from raging out of control as Sturgis shifts into overdrive.
