Plot Synopsis

Twelve up-and-coming fashion designers hand-picked by Rihanna compete against each other in weekly elimination challenges, as they vie for a grand prize that includes $100,000 cash, a fashion feature in "Glamour" magazine and the chance to become the next member of Rihanna's design team. Each week, the designers are presented with a different challenge, each aimed at creating a new look to define the celebrity guest's image. During the challenge, three mentors -- Grammy Award-winning music producer Pharrell Williams, international model Erin Wasson, and Rihanna's personal stylist, Mel Ottenberg -- inspire these designers to push their creative boundaries, and then the mentors select half of the contestants to showcase their new designs for the client, while the other half are placed up for elimination. The celebrity guest-of-the-week decides which designer best achieves their vision. Faced with the threat of elimination, the remaining designers meet with the three mentors to discuss where they fell short and who will be sent home. Celebrity guests include: Kid Cudi, Miley Cyrus, Carly Rae Jepsen, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Minogue, Kelly Osbourne, The Band Perry, Naya Rivera, Big Sean, Nervo and Ne-Yo. This series, executive produced by Rihanna, was original scheduled to debut on Style Network, but moved to Bravo after Style Network became Esquire Network in September 2013.
