Plot Synopsis

SUE'S PLACES is a half-hour docuseries that follows 2-time NCAA champion and 13-time WNBA All-Star Sue Bird, as she takes on Peyton Manning's signature show and explores the history of college basketball with players of the past and present. SUE'S PLACES debuted on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 on ESPN+, with a new installment dropping weekly through April 4. In the series opener, "Udder Domination," Sue returns to UConn to milk cows with Geno Auriemma and meets up with Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd. In later episodes: Sue enlists the help of Danny Manning, Mario Chalmers, and Bill Self to help Jayhawks superfan Jason Sudeikis relive the iconic Kansas basketball moments he's missed; Sue visits NC State to learn about the origins of cutting down the nets and meets Dawn Staley, whose South Carolina program has perfected the art of net-cutting; and Sue meets up with Iowa Hawkeyes sensation Caitlin Clark, who takes on former NBA player and BYU star Jimmer Fredette in a "from the logo" challenge.
