Plot Synopsis

This six-episode series follows five pros and five celebrities who play in The Super High Roller Celebrity Shootout, a No Limit Hold 'Em poker tournament held on June 27 & 28, 2015 at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Celebrities Hank Azaria, Don Cheadle, Brad Garrett, Norm Macdonald and Kevin Pollak compete for the $1 million prize in a tournament that has them facing some of poker's most famous players: Doyle Brunson, Antonio Esfandiari, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, and Vanessa Selbst. In this two-day tournament, the poker pros compete against each other at one table until one pro is left; the celebrities do the same at a second table. When each table has only one player remaining, the winning poker pro faces off against the winning Hollywood celebrity in a best-of-three, head-to-head showdown. The $1,000,000 prize goes entirely to the one winner of the event. NBCSN premiered this event in six episodes on consecutive Wednesday nights:
