Plot Synopsis

This series combines first-person accounts, interviews and re-enactments to tell stories of people who died and returned to life. These near-death stories include: a man who fell into an icy lake and was dead for two hours; a pregnant woman who drowned and was clinically dead for 15 minutes; a cardiac arrest victim who was treated for hypothermia; and many other cases where people suffered aneurysms, strokes, drownings, and fatal accidents and were able to avoid the Grim Reaper.
