Plot Synopsis

SWEDISH DICKS is a half-hour single camera comedy about an aging ex-stuntman, Ingmar Andersson, stuck in the past and an overly optimistic Swedish DJ, Axel Kruse, who is stuck in the digital world. Together they get unstuck by forming the private detective firm Swedish Dicks, solving some of the strangest and wildest cases that the citizens of Los Angeles have ever seen. In addition to special recurring guest star Keanu Reeves, the 10-episode first season features these guest stars: Traci Lords, Margaret Cho, Anthony LaPaglia, and Eric Roberts. Pop aired the U.S. premiere of SWEDISH DICKS on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 8-9pm ET/PT, showing back-to-back episodes. Season 2 of SWEDISH DICKS premiered on Pop on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 10-11pm ET/PT, as the cable network aired the U.S. debut of the season's first two episodes. Having stabilized their position in the PI world, Ingmar believes he and Axel are finally ready to become licensed detectives. However, this creates unexpected immigration problems for Axel, who turns out to be an illegal alien. On top of taking on new high-profile cases, competing against their arch enemy Jane McKinney and having to question if friend-turned-foe Tex is really dead, they now have to solve Axel's visa problem.

On Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 10-11pm ET/PT, POP premiered the Season 2 finale of SWEDISH DICKS, debuting back-to-back new episodes:

"Girls Day!" (10pm): Having learned of Axel's immigration status, Jane forces the Dicks to catch Omaha's most wanted mafioso on her behalf. Sun uses her North Korean charm to help Sarah get over her ex.

"Till Dicks Do Us Part" (10:30pm): With Tex as a sax player, Sun as the coordinator, and Lou the officiant, the setting for Axel and Eve's wedding is almost ideal. But when has anything ever gone to plan in the Dicks' world?
